Role: Programme lead for KPMG’s UK Chief Digital Officer.
Contribution: Mapped the customer journey to identify where AI and automation could improve client experience and reduce the cost to deliver.
Outcome: Presented the work to 600 partners, setting out a case for adoption grounded in service quality and delivery economics.

Digital Twin Hub · Connected Places Catapult

Unlocking the data that makes AI useful.

Role: Director of the Digital Twin Hub at Connected Places Catapult.
Contribution: Led work across the Catapult network on a DSIT-backed programme for national cyber-physical infrastructure.
Outcome: Cross-sector recommendations and a Future Opportunities Plan that helped inform the UK’s Modern Industrial Strategy.

Connected Places Catapult · Birmingham

From digital twins towards a city testbed.

Role: DIATOMIC technology advisory board member for two years, through Connected Places Catapult.
Contribution: Led a proposal for increased digital-twin funding, connecting city priorities, universities and technology capabilities.
Outcome: A foundation for wider city use; the larger city-testbed opportunity remains ahead.

Hypercat · KPMG Australia

Making connected cities investable.

Role: Founder and leader of Hypercat, collaborating with KPMG Australia.
Contribution: Brought government, industry and academia together around interoperability and co-wrote successful funding bids for Darwin, Newcastle and Geelong.
Outcome: Work on SmartDarwin helped enable the A$200m Darwin City Deal.
